50-60 Years with Alpha Chi

On Monday, October 17th, the Beta Lambda Beta chapter joined the collegiate women to celebrate Founder's Day. At the dinner many of us sat with the collegiate women, talked about classes and remembered the college years. Some of us were privledged to sit with our 50-60 honorees. Marilyn Holmes, a 50 year honoree, shared with her table a story about leaving college in the 60's to work for IBM where she gave the first trainings on word processing! Beverly Thomas, during the ceremony, shared stoires of starting her collegiate years right after WWII at UT when the campus was full of men again!

Other BLB members, from every generation, shared what Alpha Chi Omega meant to them to a very interested room of women of all ages. What a beautiful evening!

Join us for our Hall of Commitment Ceremony on November 20th... details on the calendar page.
